Utility Transformation

This utility room was a valuable work and storage space, but previously felt cluttered and claustrophobic.  As a narrow room with a wall-mounted boiler, consumer unit, numerous above-counter isolator switches and poorly located lighting, it tended to be used as a ‘dumping ground’, with the door kept closed to conceal it’s unappealing looks.

We replaced the drab existing cabinets with Burbidge’s Stunning Malmo Oak range.  The hinged base units were replaced with soft-close drawer units, and the wall units were replaced with a seamless run of extra tall Malmo cabinets, covering the unsightly boiler, and panel-scribed to the ceiling.

Recessed LED lighting reflects off the crisp, white quartz worktops to create subtle evening feature lighting, or additional task lighting.

The huge 800mm under-mount sink is perfect for washing clothes or boots, or even the dog!
